ADHD is believed to arise from a multifaceted interplay of environmental, genetic, and biological elements.

  1. Environmental factors.

    encompass a wide array of influences such as toxins, trauma, heavy metals, nutrition, relationships, health conditions, and accidents.

  2. Genetic predispositions.

    Particularly the D4 dopamine receptor gene, play a substantial role, with half of parents passing ADHD susceptibility to their offspring.

  3. Biological contributors..

    extend from prenatal exposures like tobacco and alcohol consumption to brain injuries in utero, emphasizing the significance of maternal well-being in supporting neurodivergent development.

  4. Neurodivergent.

    The brain grows differently causing life long divergence from the norm.

ADHD! Now What?

  1. Consider medication first for ADHD.

  2. Adult ADHD Coaching, is second.

    for personalized guidance, goals, and aid in keeping focus.

  3. Psychotherapy, is third.

    It offers deeper self-reflection and healing. It is not, however, generally designed to create ADHD adaptive skills.

    Coaching is generally more effective than Psychotherapy for addressing ADHD challenges.

  4. Other.

    Studies and anecdotal information demonstrate specific behaviors, habits, activities, strategies, and supplements (micronutrients, herbs, mushrooms, and chemicals), have been helpful for many people.
